Luna Negrín, Miss RNB Madrid 2025, is a clear example of this. A model, journalism student, and passionate about social impact, Luna shows us that beauty is much more than appearance: it's attitude, values, and authenticity.
In this interview, we talk about her journey into the world of pageants, her vision of beauty, and her experience with OhMyKoko, the first skin activist brand.
Luna, you are Miss RNB Madrid 2025, a title that carries with it a lot of visibility and responsibility. What motivated you to participate in this pageant?
Since I was a little girl, beauty pageants have been a part of my life. This tradition has been present in my family, but for me, participating went beyond the title or the crown. I've always seen these platforms as an opportunity to grow, learn, and, above all, to inspire. I'm motivated by the idea of using this visibility to spread a positive message , to show that beauty is much more than appearance and that every woman can be strong, intelligent, and authentic without losing her essence.
For many people, beauty pageants can be seen as superficial. How do you think these types of platforms can serve as a platform for important causes, and what message do you want to convey from your position?
I understand that some people may have that perception, but the truth is that pageants have made significant progress. Today, they function as a platform to raise awareness of social causes, promote values like discipline and resilience, and empower women. From my position, I want to communicate that beauty isn't limited to a single standard , and that true impact comes from what we stand for and how we seize the opportunities presented to us.
In addition to your role in the competition, we want to get to know Luna beyond the spotlight. What do you do professionally, and how do you combine both in your daily life?
I'm a Communications student with a minor in Journalism, and I'm also passionate about modeling and the world of organization and advertising. My daily life is a mix of my studies, my social project, and my commitments to the pageant. It's a challenge, but I've always been very disciplined and I enjoy each of these aspects. For me, balance lies in organization and always remembering why I do what I do.
At OhMyKoko, we believe in beauty as an act of self-love, not imposed standards. What does beauty mean to you, and how do you define it from your personal experience?
For me, beauty is authenticity. It's feeling comfortable in your own skin, accepting who you are, and embracing it without comparing yourself. It's the energy you transmit, the confidence with which you present yourself to the world, and the way you treat others. When you take care of yourself with self-love, not pressure, it shows in everything.
You've tried some of our products, like Very Kissable Lips and All in One. How was your experience with them? What surprised you the most?
I loved them. The first thing I noticed was the light texture and the fresh feeling on my skin. Self-care and skin preparation are key in the world of fashion and beauty. Do you have any special rituals for taking care of your skin, especially during times of stress or before a photoshoot or important event?
Yes, I try to maintain a simple but consistent routine. I focus on cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection. Before a photoshoot, I like to give myself facial massages to improve circulation and apply hydrating masks. I also try to drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest, because the skin reflects everything that's happening internally.

I think we're at a pivotal moment where brands need to be more responsible. It's no longer just about selling products, but about making a positive impact. This type of activism is pushing the industry to be more transparent and conscious, and that's something we should all value.
As a woman with a strong future, which social causes do you most identify with and why?
I've always been driven by the well-being of children and animals. I believe they are both vulnerable beings who depend on us, and it pains me to see how they often don't receive the protection they deserve. I'm also interested in everything related to education and female empowerment, because I believe that when a person has access to knowledge and the right tools, their lives can change completely.
As a woman who balances different roles, how do you stay authentic in a world where you're often expected to fit into certain molds?
I always remind myself who I am and why I do what I do. It's easy to get caught up in what others expect, but at the end of the day, the most important thing is being at peace with yourself. For me, authenticity doesn't mean being the same person at all times, but rather being true to my values regardless of the environment.
Finally, if you had to describe OhMyKoko in one sentence, what would it be?
