Our face has the most developed facial muscles of the entire animal kingdom . This is logical if we take into account the enormous range of feelings that we need to express , whether voluntarily or involuntarily. Fear , anger , joy , sadness , satisfaction ... would not be visible on our face if it were not for those more than 30 muscles , the majority of which are in the mouth area .

Facial gymnastics may seem like something very modern, but nothing could be further from the truth.
It seems that its origin is in China , back in the year 2500 BC , so it is as ancient as yoga .
You may have heard about it lately. In recent years it is gaining followers and popularity for its many benefits :
-
Improves collagen production
- Stimulates blood circulation and oxygenates tissues
- Detoxifies
- Improves skin tone
- Improves facial definition , including cheekbones
- Prevents and fights tissue sagging
- Improves the tired appearance
- Improves the appearance of bags and dark circles
- Fight lip wrinkles
- Tones the double chin and jaw
- Reduces flaccidity
Of course, it is useless if you are not consistent and do not practice it regularly . You just need to dedicate a few minutes a day , between five and ten are enough, to benefit from all its benefits.
There are many facial exercises, we have selected the five that we detail below. Associate them with your daily cosmetic routine and eat as balanced a diet as possible. With this formula , your skin will defy the tyranny of the passing of time for much longer.
Ready, set, go!
Double chin and jaw
We are going to work on these two areas that you are so worried about. To do this, keep your head straight and your shoulders down . Once you have managed to be comfortable in this position, stick your tongue out as far as you can with your mouth wide open , trying to make your lower jaw touch your neck . Repeat this ten times . If it makes you laugh , all the better, the more complete the exercise will be!
You can also press your tongue against the roof of your mouth as hard as you can . Repeat this ten times .

Fight the barcode
To work on this critical area, we are going to insert our index fingers , one on each side of the mouth . Stretch the corners of the mouth outwards while bringing the lips together .
This exercise is very useful for improving the muscles and elasticity of areas as vulnerable as the upper lip .

Fuller lips
Who doesn't want sexier lips ? This exercise is sure to be a real turn-on… Bring your lips together and stretch them as if you were trying to give an imaginary kiss . Do it as exaggeratedly as you can and hold them there, with maximum tension. Repeat ten times .

Tones the upper eyelids
Stand in front of the mirror and, without moving your head, open your eyes as wide as possible , as if you were trying to touch your eyelid with your eyelashes . Keep them like that for as long as you can. Repeat a couple more times .

Improves oxygenation and nutrition of the skin
Place your hand , with your fist tightly closed , in front of your lips . Try to blow as if you were trying to pass through the gap left by it .
With this exercise, you will improve the muscle tone of the lower region of your face, since by activating circulation , the oxygenation and nutrition of the tissues improves .

Advice:
Be consistent and dedicate between 5 and 10 minutes a day. Choose your best time, in the morning or at night.
Of course, do it with your face CLEAN and MOISTURIZED so that the skin has the best flexibility. Ideally, do it in front of a mirror to make sure you do it right.
